Versioning and migration

All minor versions support backward compatibility within one major version. 1.0, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, etc. versions are compatible, but 1.9 is not compatible with 2.0.
Licenses are valid for the specific version of the SDK.
Recompilation (without code changes) is required when change FaceSDK version.

Face Detector versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Face Detector versions - 200, 201, 210 and 211.
Versions 210 and 211 are mobile.

Face Tracker versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Face Tracker version - 101.

Alignment versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Alignment versions - 99 and 103.
Alignment 103 is the version to use by default.

Builder versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Builder versions - 103, 104, 105, 106, 200, 210 and 211.
Versions 200, 210 and 211 are mobile.

Age&Gender versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Age&Gender version - 100.

Quality checker versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Quality checker version - 100.

Image Smart Compression versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Image Smart Compression versions - 100 and 101.

Liveness versions

Face SDK 1.9.0 includes Liveness Detection version - 102. Liveness detection is not supported on mobile platforms.

Algorithms versions compatibility

Alignment 99 is not compatible with any Builder and designed only for aligning an image to the standard size and position.
Aligment 103 should be used by default for any face recognition use cases.
Alignment 99 and 103 are compatible with Face Detectors 2XX.
Alignment 103 can be used with Detector 102 only in Face SDK 1.6.
Important!
Builder versions 1XX and 200 are compatible with 103 Alignment version.
Builder versions 210 and 211 are incompatible with 103 Alignment version.
Builder versions 210 and 211 are compatible with Face Detectors 2XX and use Detectors 2XX output without any alignment.
Tracker version 101 is compatible with Alignment 103 and Face Detectors 2XX.
Quality version 100 is compatible with Face Detectors 2XX.
Liveness version 102 requires Face Detector 2XX.
Age&Gender version 100 is compatible with 103 Alignment version.
Builder 200 requires Fir Matcher 200, Builder 210 requires Fir Matcher 210, etc.
